Project Trio

Greg Patillo on Flute, Eric Stephenson on cello, Peter Seymour on bass

It’s a really cool mix of instruments playing in an improv/jazz genre that makes their music unique. Patillo and Stephenson also have a few videos up on youtube of them playing at New York subway stations ranging from “Empire State of Mind” to random jams. When they add Seymour on bass the collaboration between Patillo’s beatboxing flute skills and the low register of a strong string section to add a new depth music. Check out their version of “The Nutcracker” and a song of their own “Sweet Pea.”

About twogirlsonestone

I'm a graduate of Saint Lawrence University where I got my degree in Global Studies major with a focus on European and Islamic Studies. I'm particularly interested in Muslim immigration in Europe. I use this blog when I'm bored or if I find a lot something interesting. I spend an inordinate amount of time online and thought it's time to post a collection of my favorites for friends to view.
